Online Casino

When I was young my parents would not let us gamble. My mom would not even let me play with cards because she don't want me to get into the habit of playing with cards and wanting to gamble. I would obviously play cards and even mahjong behind their back. When I was older my parents no longer can control me and they didn't care if I gamble (in moderation) obviously. I have only been to the casino several times in my life. The first time I went to the casino was when my parents took me there shortly after my 21st birthday and then ever since I came to the US I've only been to the casino three times because my hubby is not a fan of gambling in the casino. Like I mentioned before I am not a huge fan of gambling but I like to gamble a little once in a while and since hubby do not like to go to the casino I have found another solution! Pro360 has hundreds of reviews for the casinos online and lists tons of online casino so if I ever wanted or feel like gambling I can go to pro360 and click on the different type of games out there that I'm interested then click on one of the websites. I might click around to see but I'm really doubtful because I think I like being in the actually casino more but who knows I might try it some day..

Get Paid to Blog

Every morning when I get up the first thing I'll do is turn on my computer and go online. I love to play around online. I also like the idea of having my own blog and being able to rant most of my feeling or my thoughts out. I didn't know that you can be paid to blog. Smory's website is simple to navigate and play around so you can understand more about what they are offering. Making money can never be easier..yippiee..I just wish that I will always find time and be determine to continue. At least I found something to fill up my time when I'm not working yet get to earn some dough..*wink* lol. Now all I have to do is log in to my account and grab suitable campaign for the money to start rolling..:)

Yogurt Cupcakes

When I go to the grocery store I have a list that I try to stick to it. Hubby and me sometimes go a insane buying stuff hence we have two refrigerator and a freezer. At time when I walk pass the yogurt isle I'll tell myself I want to be healthy and eat yogurt everyday hence we will be greedy and stock up on it. We stocked up on it and do not have the cravings to eat them and it would be a waste to just throw them away.

Since we had to attend two Christmas party over the weekend I decided to make some yogurt cake and also for the very first time use my
Wilton decoration kit that I bought over the summer. Sorry I should say tried to use the decoration kit.

Yogurt Cake

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar (I used 1/4 C of white and 1/4 C of brown sugar)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup plain yogurt (I used 11/2C of peach yogurt)

DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9 inch Bundt pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg until smooth. Combine the flour, baking soda, and baking powder; stir into the batter alternately with the yogurt. Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
3. Bake for 50 minutes in the preheated oven, until a knife inserted into the crown comes out clean.

p/s: I changed this recipe because I didn't want my cupcakes to be too sweet and I was going to put icing on top because my icing was not stiff enough it didn't look pretty :(

We attended two Christmas party has weekend. Saturday was FIL's side and Sunday was MIL's side and therefore I made a batch to take over for both days because I don't want any left overs but yet we still have. We (MIL, FIL, Hubby etc) talked about not getting presents for each other this year so I am not stress about any presents at all this year *yippie* but I decided I'll just bake some stuff as a present and since BIL like the Caramel Apple Bread I told hubby that I'll make that for him as a Christmas present. I haven't decided what I'll make for the in laws. I am thinking of making a Cinnamon raisin bread but have not decided still.

Hubby's cousin..She's 4 years old and she's adorable..Elisa was wearing her jeans and sweater but when I went down the basement to look for her she was just sitting prettily on the couch wearing her snow white dress.

Merry Christmas

I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May this holiday bring you lots of food, fun and laughter to you and your loved ones.

Best Blogging Buddies

When I first started blogging I thought I would just blog everything and anything that's in my mind. I didn't think that by blogging I would be able to meet so many people. I've virtually "met" some really cool and nice people out there and I hope that one day I would be able to meet them in person. Thru blogging you get to meet people from all different walks of life but there in no discrimination what so ever against those people. Mummy Shern have once again presented me with this awesome cool award that is the Best Blogging Buddy Award. I am so honored to receive this award and I would like to thank all my blogging buddies for helping and lending me your ear / giving me feedback and encouragement all the time. I am glad I met all you bloggers out there..*hugs*
I would like to share this award with..Zara's mummy, Sass, and Dar..That's for it now..the rest that I didn't present this award I DO appreciate you and your support..xoxo

Time Flies

MIL just got back from her vacation in Texas and she's freaked out about work etc..Went to the office today with hubby and saw here there rushing to key in stuff into the computer. She was talking about not going to work of Friday etc and was asking me about Christmas shopping..I didn't understand why she wasn't going to work on Friday and why was she so concerned about Christmas shopping then it struck me that Christmas is NEXT WEEK. Oh My God!!!I cannot believe that Christmas is next week. I thought it was in two weeks and I had plenty of time to make stuff for Christmas. I cannot believe how quickly time flies. I was initially busy with work and Stanley's school and now looking for another job and planning stuff out for vacation etc it didn't occur to me that Christmas IS around the corner. In no time New Year's would be here and it would be time to make my New Year resolutions. I'm hoping that I'm able to line up a job for next year so that I don't need to stay at home..aiks...*finger cross* let's hope that something will turn out for me soon.
We haven't even set up our Christmas tree..I think we are just going to skip the tree this year. Our first year in our new home we skipped the tree and we decided to put one up last year but this year with Stanley still being so hyper we are not sure if we should put the tree up moreover we are skipping presents this year therefore there won't be any present under the tress after all so what is the point of a tree? We'll see technically we still have some time to put up the tree for a couple of days though and it should be down then.

Stanley is sad...

Stanley's third class went quite well but the hubby forgot to take the camera with therefore there was no pictures or videos from that class. Stanley and I got there first as usual while hubby would go there directly from school. The teacher used Stanley as an "example" because he's one of the hyper dogs there. He was so cute he listened to the teacher so well that the teacher actually praised him as a good and smart dog..I was so proud of Stanley and then 20 minutes after that while he supposed to be sitting still his daddy walked in the room. Stanley knew that it was his daddy but he dare not move..so cute..wished I had my camera there. Everybody laughed because Stanley looked like he wanted to greet his daddy but he dare not move more..LOL..

Anyway last weekend we went up to the cabin. On our way up there Stanley was so whiny sitting behind because he wanted to come up front with us finally I gave in and let him sit on my lap his daddy said "look who's the boss" but his daddy was worst than me. Stanley was sitting behind and he pushed his way on to daddy's lap while he was driving and sat on his lap. His daddy just let me do that...I was like I guess I know who's the boss too..his daddy purposely stop so that Stanley can go out and stretch and run for a while because he was whining..

When we were in the cabin, he was just with his grandpa when ever he could. Grandpa would sit and read a book and he would jump on the couch and sit next to him, his grandpa took a nap on the couch Stanley jumped on the couch and slept with grandpa and his grandpa actually moved one of his leg to make room so Stanley can nap with him together, Saturday night grandpa was tired and fell asleep on the recliner; Stanley was sleeping on him again. Sunday morning his grandpa took him out for a walk before we even got out of bed..*shake head*..See I'm not the only one that spoils him rotten. Hubby and his dad spoils him too especially his dad.

Grandpa had to move one of his leg so Stanley can sleep with him
Tired out..
Waiting for Grandpa to come home
Poor boy was so sad when he left the cabin. I think he miss his grandpa a ton because he could care less who was at the cabin all he did was just stayed with his grandpa. He didn't even disturb me when I was watching my shows.

There goes my shopping money..sob sob

When hubby and I first applied for my PR(Permanent Residency) we spend a ton of time and money into it. I was finally granted my conditional PR about two years ago. Now I have to pay $500++ again to remove my "conditional" PR or else everything that we have done before would be void. Hubby said why can't I be a Mexican then I don't need to go thru or spend money on all these. I will be illegal but will be granted asylum..I said I should just go home and he should just pay me alimony every month...I don't even want to know how much will it cost us when I apply for my citizenship...arghh..the amount of inconvenience, time and money we spend on this and there are hundreds and hundreds of illegals out there..I might as well just be an illegal actually..Thinking about this makes me mad sometimes...

Caramel Rolls

When hubby was young MIL always made Caramel Rolls and he used to ask me to make that for him. The other day I asked him and FIL what do they like to eat better Caramel Rolls or Cinnamon Rolls and they both said Caramel Rolls. Since I'm not working and I want to try Caramel Rolls I made some...
To safe me the hassle I just dump everything in my bread machine to mix the flour up.

The flour rising
It rose so much that it opened up my bread machine cover
Cut up to be put in open
Finish product with caramel icing..yummy...
Caramel Rolls

2 cups warm water (not hot) -I used Milk
2 (1/4 ounce) packages yeast (2 T bulk)
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons salt
4 tablespoons butter (let sit out until soft)
1 egg
6 1/2 cups flour
cinnamon-sugar mixture

Topping
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
3/4 cup butter
3 tablespoons water

Mix water and yeast and wait 5 minutes.

Stir in sugar, salt and 2 cups of flour.

Add egg and butter and mix.

Stir in rest of flour by hand, if dough is still sticky add just enough to make it not sticky anymore.

Let raise until dough is double in size.

Sprinkle flour on surface and roll dough out until is approx 18 X 12 inches.

Spread a very thin layer of soft butter on dough and sprinkle cinnamon/sugar mixture on it.

Roll dough from the long side, it should look like a log.

Cut into 1 inch pieces. (I used thread to cut it to eliminate the mess of using a knife)

Should be 18 pieces.

Place brown sugar and butter into microwave dish and heat until butter is just melted; stir well.

Stir in 3 T water.

Divide mixture into 3 pans (8-inch cake pans).

Place 6 pieces in each pan.

Let raise for about 45 minutes.

Bake for 20 minutes in a 325°F oven.

When you take out of oven, turn each pan of rolls over on a plate, otherwise you will have a hard time getting them out when they cool.

If you can, let them cool slightly and enjoy them when they are still warm.

I love both Cinnamon an Caramel rolls..Caramel rolls is much sweater than Cinnamon once I think and if my mum would see the amount of sugar in the Caramel rolls I think she would faint.LOL Hubby said I'm trying to kill him because I make all these rolls and he really loves it therefore he's going to be fatter and die sooner..opss...I guess that's why I try and distribute food that I bake so that he don't get to eat so much of it..

Stanley’s Second Class

He was a little better than his first class in terms of not so excited but never the less he was still excited seeing other people/dogs there. The teacher suggested that we take him out more to the pet stores to walk and meet other people or animals. I told the teacher that hubby dare not take him to the stores in case he goes wild/too excited to see other people and animals and she said that we should do it often but not keep him sheltered. After class we took him to petco and I think my baby did pretty well. This class I took two videos of him it was just funny to see him, hubby and the other dogs just excited/scared being there.

Next class is going to be interesting. The teacher said that we are going to take their leash off and do the "come" command. I can imagine the chaos..

Unemployed Again ;)

I'm done with my seasonal job. It was supposed to be a month long seasonal job and they kept me there longer than expected. I'm happy, I'm glad that I'm given the option and the extra time to work there. I enjoy meeting almost everyone there and I've truly enjoy working there. I seldom enjoy working at a particular place and with this place it was enjoyable and I was happy most of the time. I had the opportunity to meet many people from different walks of life including the president of the company. He's truly a nice man. I enjoy chatting with him. He's so open to questions/suggestions. Being me I obviously gave him my two cents opinion about the problem that I and the other people find but nothing’s been done and he looked like he seriously took my suggestion. He's trying to set me up for an interview with a bank which he's a chairman of. I am waiting to hear from the lady and since Christmas and New Year is around the corner I'm not sure when I'll hear from them but anyway I'm really thankful that I had the opportunity to meet him and get to know him. Will see what will happen future when I know more..*finger cross*

Frustrated

I'm currently feeling extremely frustrated. I have been trying to do the Pay Per Post thingy but I'm still unable to do so..Poor Mummy Shern she's been trying to tell me how do install this and do this and that but then it seems like I'm not able to do some of it. I feeling dumb currently. It's also frustrating for someone across the world to help you but then you are not getting it right however I DO appreciate it very very much Mummy Shern..I hope that this hassle is just to get start up and then after that should not be that much of a problem if not I think I will be CURSING and SWEARING a LOT...
So far there is no sign of giving up yet but just frustrated. Mummy Shern thank you thank you for helping me and I'm sure there will be more questions on the way because I still haven't been able to figure it out. Thank you for your patience and guidance too...*hugz* let's hope it works sooon or else I'll probably give up..

Updated

This story here about the illegal breeding of puppies really makes me ANGRY..will continue blogging when I get home..I told hubby to read this story when we got home..remember hubby said ONE dog is enough but after he read the story and seeing the cute little puppies me decided to head to petfinder to see dogs surrounding our area for adoption lol..There are several once once that we thought it was pretty cute.

Ralph
Snow Bear
Hubby loves Ralph the most. He said that Ralph is even cuter than Stanley..sob sob..I told him that Stanley will always be my NUMBER ONE..I think other dogs like Snow bear that's cute too. So many to choose from..Ralph's adoption fees cost $500 I think we should just browse it because it's cost too much to adopt another dog that price moreover the only reason I want another dog just because I feel bad for those puppies in the puppy mill and I just want another dog to play with Stanley..hehehe..
------------------------------------------------------------
For some reason today I wanted to make some Cinnamon rolls so after work I came home and made some. Asked hubby to test it for me..Even me when I don't eat my own baking I liked it..It's really sinful and I cannot believe that I would even eat it..
Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls

1 (1/4 ounce) package dry yeast
1 cup warm milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup margarine
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
4 cups flour

FILLING
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon
1/3 cup margarine, softened

ICING
8 tablespoons margarine
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
For the rolls, dissolve the yeast in the warm milk in a large bowl.
Add sugar, margarine salt, eggs, and flour, mix well.
Knead the dough into a large ball, using your hands dusted lightly with flour.
Put in a bowl, cover and let rise in a warm place about 1 hour or until the dough has doubled in size.
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface, until it is approx 21 inches long by 16 inches wide. It should be approx 1/4 thick.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
To make filling, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
Spread the softened margarine over the surface of the dough, then sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over the surface.
Working carefully, from the long edge, roll the dough down to the bottom edge.
Cut the dough into 1 3/4 inch slices, and place in a lightly greased baking pan.
Bake for 10 minutes or until light golden brown.
While the rolls are baking combine the icing ingredients.
Beat well with an electric mixer until fluffy.
When the rolls are done, spread generously with icing.
p/s: I didn't take any pictures of my Cinnamon Rolls because we already dug into it...Will take it when I make more soon. Hubby said I should hide it from him so that he don't eat everything lol.

Stay tuned for Stanley's second class...:)

First snow storm of the season..

We got our first snow storm of the season yesterday..It started snowing pretty bad about 8ish in the morning up to last night. Hubby had to help a friend move and as soon as they were staring to load their tucks up it just snowed and snowed and snowed. It was cold and windy which made it worst but luckily I didn't go with him because I had to start preparing food because we were having his cousin over for dinner last night. We decided to make steamboat/pot hot since it's cold and it's pretty easy to prepare. I started boiling the broth as soon as I got up until at about 3pm and after that I started grounding pork to make dumplings. I was going to use the food processor I had but that stupid thing happen to not work at that time. I would put the cut up meat in it and start it but it'll just spin and not do anything so I ended up using the old fashion way buy chopping it by hand. I need to get a new food processor..By the time I was done slicing the chicken and wrapping the dumplings/wanton hubby came home and we went out to get some other food and vegetables. Stopped by the pet store to get some adult dog food for Stanley too..This is some pricier than usual canidae dog food and according to the testimonials on the website it's supposed to be the "shit"! I'm hoping that he will have a pretty coat of fur, better for his digestion and will reduce his smelly gas.. Shoveled more when we got home and chopped up the vegetables then cleaned the house a little lastly just waited for our guest to arrive. I was thinking that our guest might cancel because the weather condition was so bad and not all the roads were plowed but he finally made it.

The "untouched" snow behind my house

The shoveled/plowed snow in front of the house

There was a little more food but I had no time to take any more pictures..
We had tons of left over because there was only 3 of us eating. I kind off knew that we would have left overs but then I like to have more out and have left overs just in case it would not be enough. I don't like to go to other peoples house when they invite you there and not have enough food to eat that's why being the Asian that I am I always have more..LOL..We didn't even have space in our tummy to eat dessert. We were going to have ice cream cake for dessert but we never made it there..
After dinner we cleaned up and went to the store to returned/get another electric blanket because the one we had before is not that warm. We had 3 blankets on our bed but after giving Stanley his bath (because his daddy decided that he could run around since it was just snow and he ran underneath his truck and became black) I went outside a little while to help daddy and allowed him to run around in the house. When hubby took the clothing up to fold he noticed that the bed was wet. Stanley must have pee on our blankets while I was outside. I am not sure why but then he's getting bad at this again. His teacher said that those are submissive peeing. I am hoping/I have to make sure that it stops sometime soon because it's driving his daddy insane. Thank god I love him if not he'll be OUT OF MY HOUSE by now..lol..We'll see what schooling brings him..*finger cross*. Continuing my story so then we decided it'll be time we get our electric blanket then we don't need so many blankets so we decided to head to the store after dinner. A lot of the roads were plowed but it still wasn't the best but these conditions don't bother hubby so we always go out even if the conditions are bad. Oh yeah and we had to do loads and loads of laundry too thanks to the puppy which made his daddy even angrier at him..hehehe..Luckily I'm the one doing it if not his ass is grasp..
