I've been privileged enough to actually get two days off in a row and since I don't normally get two days off in a row I had a lot plan since I needed to get a lot done before I have to start my work week again.
To begin my day one of my golden child was not feeling since the night before. Stanley was puking and refused to eat his dinner. I think he had a slight diarrhea too. Anyway we decided to give him a tsp of pepto bismo hoping that he would feel better soon. He slept all night long and didn't ask to go out throughout the night. We thought he was going to keep us awake all night long. I wanted to sleep in that morning since it was my day off but Stanley was asking to go out of the bedroom and I assumed that he had to use the restroom because was not feeling well. As soon as I let him out he ran to the his water bowl and drank and drank and drank a bunch of water. When we went out I saw that he had diarrhea and I knew that he needed a few more shots of Pepto Bismo. When we got back in I gave him his food and he would not any so I quickly peeled a potato and boiled them so I could make some mashed potato for him. He gobbled his mashed potato up.
After feeding Stanley his mashed potato I decided that I would make a loaf of bread since we didn't have any bread left. My bread maker started for a few minutes and it stopped!
I was horrified when my machine would not move! I then though darn now I have to knead the dough by hand but I don't have much time because I was suppose to meet my gal friend in 40min for lunch. I started kneading the dough a little and then my light bulb moment came! I remembered that I had my Kitchen Mixer so I dump everything into my mixer and let it do the kneading why I was getting other stuff ready before I had to leave.
I don't know if I want to use my Kitchen Mixer to knead dough because I think that it puts a lot of pressure on my Mixer. I was initially thinking if hubby could not fix my bread maker I'll just buy another bread maker so I can use it to knead my dough but I've been thinking that I might want to try kneading my dough by hand because then I save some space on my kitchen counter. I'm going to try several times and see how does that work now before I decide if I will get another one.
My bread maker has really served me well. It's been with me for 3-4yrs and I think I really made good use of it. I've been worried every single time I would use the bread maker it would break on me and true enough it broke on me but it also broke on me the wrong time! I guess it would not break on me when I have all the time in the world!
That was my quite hectic morning. How has your day been going?
