Denny's Restaurant

I've been missing for quite some time. There is so much as usual to blog about but I am just not finding the time to do it. I've been hooked on to reading the twilight series and now I'm so hooked on to it that my first two series I spend every of my waking hour reading the book. Nothing much is done at home except for the basic cleaning and cooking! (I am super horrible hence I now decided that I will take my time with this 3rd and 4th series to get my priorities straight)

Anyway hub's birthday was beginning of the month but on his birthday itself I had to work so we pre-celebrated his birthday. Two days before his birthday we went to his favorite Mexican restaurant. The next morning hubby and I woke up to have breakfast at the nearby Denny's restaurant then headed to shops that he wanted to go since it was his birthday.

Hubby order a Denny's plate or something. It came with two pancake, two eggs and a bacon.

This was another plate we ordered as we were starving. It was just biscuits and gravy with some hash brown on the side.

I got the breakfast skillet that had potatoes, spinach, peppers, sausage and some cheese with two eggs. I thought my skillet tasted pretty good.

Overall we had a satisfying breakfast there. Every once in a while we would go out to breakfast places like Denny's because it is pretty convenient for us but we don't do it all the time because most of the food I'm able to make it at home for the fraction of the price and healthier.

Lastly, I wish my beloved hubby a very happy birthday (I didn't bake him a cake this year that was how unorganized I am with my time lately!) and hope you had a wonderful time and love the stuff you got (I didn't buy him any present but he just went and bought what he wanted). I will try and make it up to you someday :p

Happy belated birthday, Andy! :)

I love going to Denny's too but like you, my hubs said he can make the same dish at home which we do now. We hardly go out to eat...think I'm becoming a cheapskate! :) But then we have to have our take out CKT every now and then coz that I really cannot perfect it! Hehehehe

Thanks Dawn!

Although I'm trying very hard to make most of my meals at home we still go out and eat at least 3 times a week. Is a butt load less than what we used to but then is still a lot. There is so many rest here in Houston that is just difficult not to eat out. We tried not eating out at all for a whole week and it actually saved us a lot of money but then that went down hill after hubs birthday!

I cannot find a good CKT place. but I found a place that makes pretty good beef kway teow noodles!

And the hubs needs his weekly dose of Mexican food!LOL
