Oh and with only Stanley we have toys all over the floor that sometimes hubby or me will trip on it and lately Stanley loves to take his toys on the bed and play there. Hopefully with two the both of them can play on the floor but we'll see second one might not be anytime soon though unless we find one we really like and Stanley can get along with.

Money
With the rising price in gas, food and everything under the sun I need to work more. I work an average about 45hrs a week which is not really a lot compared to a lot of people but it's all I can stand being in an office that's probably enough for me. We have enough to make it through our live but who doesn't want more money in their pocket? I have a little boy (Stanley) to pamper therefore it means spending more money too. Luckily I found out about pay per post which is a blog advertisement company where they pay you to write about selected advertisement that they have to offer. Payperpost not only will help you make extra income but surprisingly it has helped me make more friends too. I met and got to know a lot of nice people world wide and actually enjoying knowing them and being friends with them. We share stories of our lives and we encourage each other when we are at the down times. Being away from my own country really helps knowing that there are people out there with similar faith. I also learn a lot of different things like parenting, cooking, gardening, traveling and so on from them. I now know where to eat or places of interest if I go to another country or place thanks to other bloggers for sharing their own experience. This way I won’t feel lost or conned if I do visit places they have been to. So if you are looking for extra income and more friends try pay per post and you’ll never regret it!

Stanley's first year with us
It was hell the first two months when we first got him. The poor boy, he was used to going to the bathroom outside but the stubborn me wanted to train him to go to the toilet on the newspaper. He got all messed up and he was having accidents everywhere. I was distraught because I felt like I could no longer do it; cleaning his mess and trying every remedy out there to train him to go on the paper. Hubby and I were getting irritated cleaning his mess. After many many months we gave up..He wanted to go outside we'll take him outside. So he had to be "retrain" to hold and only go outside. He would still have accidents here and there at the beginning but because we were training him again we were ready for that and he wasn't having that much accident that he had before.
Next was because of his nature he loves to dig and chase rabbits, squirrels or any animals out there therefore when he's not leashed properly he'll run away and we'll have a difficult time asking him to come back. One weekend when daddy was out of town he broke his collar and ran up the hill opposite my house. That was when daddy and I decided that we should send Stanley to school to be discipline since we have no idea at all on how to discipline dog. I really had a lot of fun with him at school although it was in the middle of winter and having to rush from work and get him ready for school I think it was worth the time and money. I think he learned a lot and if we have time I think he would be better (we haven't really been practicing with him).
It's going to be almost ONE year since we've had him in May. I'm so glad that we decided to adopt him and have him in our lives. We had to adapt to having a puppy and the responsibility but I think it's all worth it to me. The year that we had him we've taken him to the cabin and most recently Texas with us for SIL's wedding. He started sleeping with us every night end of last year when we were sure that he would not have any accident during the night. He's been my little pride and joy since then. I used to have my profile pictures or my desktop of pictures of hubby and me but everything has changed to Stanley now. Every profile out there has a picture of Stanley, My desktop has a picture of Stanley even my cell phone's desktop is a picture of Stanley. Hubby said that it's now all about Stanley. He don't even need to take any pictures with me anymore because all I care about it Stanley..lol..
Everyone around me tells me that Stanley is a really lucky dog to have us. We have spend a ton of money buying him tons, upgrading his food, buying him a bigger and more expensive crate, taking him to the vet and the list goes on and on...I think it's worth every penny to me as I hope that he'll stay with me longer. I am hesitant to even have any kids because I don't want Stanley to feel left out but that might change some day. We agreed that we'll just have another person to play with Stanley since he's so playful..:P...I'm also considering on getting another dog so that Stanley can have someone else to play with since we're not home about 9 hours a day on average but we'll have to see with that. We found out over Christmas that Stanley actually lived with another dog before he was given up for adoption and so happen hubby's cousin actually adopted the other dog. His cousin's wife was actually considering between Stanley and the other dog. Thank god she didn't pick Stanley (I guess he's meant for us :}) and if we ever have a chance I want to take Stanley to play with the other dog to see if he remembers which I doubt because he just loves to play doesn't matter who or what. I asked hubby the other day if his cousin didn't adopt the other dog and we were at the shelter and we knew that Stanley had someone that came from the same house with him whether he would consider adopting the other one and he said he would seriously consider it (hopefully that means he'll seriously consider getting a friend/sibling for Stanley).
This past year Stanley has brought a lot of work and problems in our lives but most importantly he's brought us a ton of joy and happiness not only in our lives but to our parent's lives. Both of our parent's loves him because he's such a good dog. I don't regret choosing him and having him in our lives. We just need to work harder so that we can spend more money on him I guess :P..If ever in future when we are too busy with our lives with other things I will always be able to come back here and read this post and remind ourselves that he'll always be our number ONE boy and we'll always love him.

Speaking of gadgets hubby bought me a new phone..LOL...We were actually thinking of getting the iphone but we didn't want to switch cell phone carriers therefore we just got a blackberry. This was not launched until April 14 so I had to wait about 3+ weeks after I found out about it and everyone knows how I HATE to wait but I was really patient waiting for it which was surprising actually...:)
I love my new phone but I'm still getting hubby to learn about it so that it'll be easier for me to use it..:P...

Since I was sick *blek* the whole weekend I spend my time in bed watching TVB-The Gentle Crackdown and Women's Murder Club. I'm not done with The Gentle Crackdown but I'm done with the other one. I need to get going on that this week :)...I wanted to start with The Gentle Crackdown before watching part II of it just in case I miss something. It's been a long time since I had time to actually stay in bed all day to watch my shows and I'm pretty happy about it but the problem is lots of chores didn't get done from me staying in bed. I just hope that I'm better because I don't want to miss work or else work will pile up if I miss a day. I rather work on stuff everyday that be freak out with piling work. I like to get my stuff done that I need to accordingly instead of stressing out on things I need to do. I hope to be more productive at home hopefully this week.

Shopping comparison website
Everyone knows that I’m an avid shopper. I love to shop so much that I need to look for great deals so that I can afford this habit. I can shop at a store or even online. Shopping online is a lot more fun because I can just shop and click at the comfort of my own home and get the items in a couple of days. A comprehensive shopping comparison website is what I need. Digxa is a huge help to me because it’s a shopping comparison website. I can compare goods and see where the deals are. They have a ton of categories from Clothing & Accessories to Computer & software to Jewelry & watches to almost anything and everything on items you want to compare before buying thus saving me a ton of money. I know how to dig thru this website to see if they have anything for pets because I love to buy stuff for my little doggie..I’m so excited when I find like this that can help me save! save! save!

Busy Busy
Last Wednesday we had a huge snowstorm. We are hoping that it'll be the last one and looking forward to summer. The only sucks about this now is the snow is melting and it's making the lawn muddy and every time when we take Stanley out he gets all dirty. Talking about Stanley we spend a bunch of money on him again this weekend ( we are not suppose to buy anything because we don't want to pack so many things). Daddy and me is such a sucker. We went to Target intending to look at a pet trimmer for him. They only had the cheap one there and hubby said that if we get the cheap one it won't last. I wanted to get him a trimmer so that I can trim his face in between grooming. I saw dental sticks and I was thinking Stanley could use some. Hubby saw this bag of bacon and cheese treat and said that we needed to get it for him because he absolutely loves bacon..(I told hubby that Stanley loves everything!)Doggie treats can be pretty spendy. Then today we went to petco and bought his trimmer and a muzzle :P...Those cost a bomb there. Stanley is so dorky he hates the muzzle but every time when he's barking I saw him the muzzle he comes to me for me to put it on but he absolutely hates having it. I normally just put it on him for a couple of minutes until he knows he's not suppose to bark and then take it out. Since it's warming up there are lots of animals out there and this really drives him nuts. He gets so excited when he's out or just looking out the window therefore we decided a muzzle might help us keep him quiet. Since he was so "busy" today he didn't even take his naps hence he's so tired now. He didn't even budge when I went to take a shower. He's sleeping on this chair we have in the living room and I decided to sit with him since he always jumps up and sit with us when we are sitting on the couch anyway and hubby thought I was mean because it's "his" couch now..haha
