Just to Complain..
OMG I'm so afraid I'm going to put on weight. I ate so much today that A said that if I don't stop I'm going to be FAT! I have not cooked Chinese cooking since my parents left and I had a huge craving for it since last night. I could not sleep because I was thinking about food!*faint* I even dreamt that I was eating rice when I finally fell asleep. So this morning I took out some vegetables or stuff that I had in the fridge and on the table and started chopping. I didn't have anything in mind of what I wanted to cook. I was starving and I just wanted to eat rice with something! I was going to open a can of chili tuna too but I forgot about it. I made mushroom cooked with tofu and eggplant, chili padi and beans with tom yam. Both tasted pretty good which was surprising because sometimes when I just whip something up in a hurry it might not taste the best. So I had a huge bowl of rice and a bunch of the vegetables. I was really full until 3pm something and I was bored but not that full ate a bunch again and then following that I ate chips because I felt like it!!*gosh* at about 8.45pm I stopped ironing and ate a plate of that AND some left over charcoal chicken!!I AM SUCH A PIG!!I hate PMS!!I feel so bad..so what ever I cooked today I barely have anything left over because I finished it in ONE DAY!arghh Oh yeah and I HATE IRONING. I would not iron my clothes for about 6-8mths every time I knew mom was going to be coming over because then she would iron my clothes for me. It's really horrible of me but I REALLY HATE IRONING and I suck at it! I don't think mom love to iron too but then she don't mind doing it and it keeps her busy while she's here. But because I want to wear all the new clothing I bought recently I have to iron it and wear it before the weather gets too cold..I spend about 1.5hrs ironing and it sucks! I don't like ironing and I'm not good at it..I should say I half ass ironed and it still took so long...
She looks happy ironing that's surely NOT ME!
How was the weekend?? Mine was alright..pretty busy trying to get some odds and ends done before the winter comes..Lawn mowed the grass at the back yard on Friday and on Saturday spend most of the day trying to get stuff for the new basement door. Sunday A had to do his homework for school while I watched my movies/played online and prepared dinner.

First day of Fall
Welcome Fall good bye Summer..I cannot believe Summer is OVER!!! I barely did anything this Summer. We didn't even go for ANY cycle ride. Poor A I know how much he miss riding his cycle. I hope that we would be able to ride on it to the cabin in the next few weeks because I know how much A wants to get out of here and go to the cabin. We didn't even go to the cabin at all this Summer *wink*..I'm happy but he's not therefore we will have to go in Fall before it gets really cold. The last time we went to the cabin was in March or April therefore you can see how much A misses his cabin.
I really cannot believe Fall is here. That means that end of next month would be Halloween, then my birthday *yeah*, then Thanksgiving, and then lastly Christmas..OMG..I cannot believe that the year is coming to an end so quickly..
This is going to be our first holiday with Stanley too..I wonder how will he be with my Christmas tree..Oh yeah..Stanley is currently sleeping in his crate every night and we feel like it's getting too small for him because we feel bad that he cannot really stretch out and he loves to do that therefore we/I've decided to get him a new crate..A says that he feels bad seeing Stanley not having enough room too so we are going to have to spend about $80 on his new crate..I told A that we will get it for him as his birthday present..and I said we still have to think of a Christmas present for him too. A looked and me and told me he's just a dog he don't need no present and he said that in my world Stanley would need it..LOL and YES I told him..I am just afraid that Stanley is going to ripe off the presents if I leave it underneath the tree but then I think we'll see how before actually leaving it there...

Stanley
My baby got a hair cut today..He looks smaller and different everytime after his hair cut. The groomer said he was not a good boy again when she tried to cut his nails..arghh...He hates it because we've tried doing it ourselves but never made it..
Remember me mentioning that daddy thinks I spoil Stanley too much??Guess what??We this week along we spend another close to $50 just on toys alone for him because he keeps chewing them and thus not being able to use it that much...He's such a little chewier/shredder! I don't know how much I've already spend on toys for him ever since we got him..We estimated we might have spend more than $1500 dollar just on him this few months...Gosh...He is a pretty lucky dog because other people that we know do not spend hardly ever on their dogs...I think dog food just about it but we keep buying him toys etc..he's got beds all over the house!!He's got TWO in our bedroom..One for him to lay on and rest one is in his kennel and he sleeps on it at night..I think he IS really spoiled and I think I've to put a STOP to buying stuff for him but I think I just need to get him a sweater and probably some boots and maybe that will be enough...*finger cross*..
It's bad enough his mommy and daddy lovvveesss to shop for themselves but it's worst now with him!!*faints*
*Yawn* after his hair cut and a long day at daddy's office...

Stanley
When we got Stanley from the shelter they were feeding him purina puppy food. This is the very first time I have a pet let alone a DOG we went to the store and bought purina puppy chow. I was told that it's a pretty good brand and since he was already eating purina at the shelter we will just feed him that. I spoke with some other people that have dogs and some feeds their dogs really cheap dog food and some purina too..Not until I spoke with skwermy the other day and found out that she feeds adorable toshi nutro..Nutro is one of the better quality dog food out there. I was reading the review I found at the pet store's website that nutro is that good..We just got Stanley another big bag of dog food two weeks ago. It takes him about 4 months to finish that bag therefore I think I'll buy adult nutro food for him then..Anything else I am suppose to know about having a dog?? I just want to give him good quality stuff and not making too big of a hole at my bank account. I hope that purina is not all that crappy since I've been feeding him that...

I'm just a girl
I love shopping! I love shopping too much! A was going to the office supply shop to get some supplies he needed for one of his classes. One of the store was nearby it's calling my name to browse thru it...argghhhh..I cannot help it..I've been there in 2 weeks!!!*faint*..I told A that I'll just go over to the store and browse thru it quick and I should be back soon. I was walking back and he was done shopping..He was just walking out the door..He even bought a bunch of stuff for work..OMG I was holding a bag...Not only did I go to the store to browse I bought something..I even went to the fitting room to try a bunch of stuff..I bought another Ralph Lauren shorts..I know I have another one that is new too that I bought last year but I don't know where did I kept it..*faint* I have been tempting to look in one of the storage box that I put some of my new clothes in but keep forgetting`and the weather is getting freaking cold...Anyway back to my story.. he was like what did you buy??Err...just a pair of shorts..I even bought a pair of jeans well actually it's capri for a friend's kid..How can I not buy??They were having sale and the store was about to close. I had 20minutes..I was in a hurry...Not enough time too much good deals..*sigh* I think I'm a better shopper sometimes without disctraction...LOL...Was tempted to go again today but then I had to take a X to sell his car and we had a wonderful lunch together..Talked about college times etc..Miss just hanging out with my friends and speak my language...When X leaves I think I'll only be speaking Cantonese on the phone with my family...Hope that my Cantonese will not suck...*finger cross*...
BTW I have a friend in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia..She is designing her own jewelry (her website Soul Chic)..It's gorgeous...Please take a look and spread the word around...It's worth it..if I was there I would surely buy from her but I'll be doing then when I go home next time..LOL..p/s: I'm not paid to do the advertising. I'm doing it because I think she's doing a great job..

Spoiled Stanley??
A says that Stanley is extremely spoiled by me. Ever since we got him; when I go to the store I'll surely go to the pet department to see if I can get anything for Stanley. A has already warned me NUMEROUS times that I am not to get anything for Stanley anymore. Today we were on the way to the office with Stanley and A said that he wanted to stop by the store to get some stuff for his truck. I obviously made my way to the pet department when A was not looking. I saw some rawhides and I wanted to get it for Stanley because we didn't take any of his toys or rawhide with us. I told A that Stanley has a few left at home and we will need to get more for him..opss...I wanted to get some for him so that he has something to chew on when we are at the office. It used to take Stanley about a month to chew his rawhide up but then he's getting really good at it that it'll only take him about a week to finish it. I was told that rawhides might not be very good for him and I discuss it with A and he said that he's had many and he chews it up properly so that should not be a problem for him so that's why I would only get him more. Moreover rawhide is supposed to freshen his breath (it's like brushing his teeth) that is why I don't mind getting it for him. It gives him something to chew on instead on stuff I don't want him to be getting his mouth on. I could actually brush his teeth but then I really cannot imagine the night mare of trying to brush his teeth *faint*. Secretly I think that A don't really care if I buy stuff for Stanley because he himself spoils him like crazy too LOL....Many people says that we are already spoiling our first puppy so darn much that they cannot imagine if we ever have a kid!!!...

Stanley
I love my Stanley very much. Most of the time he's really cute and I give in to him but then because he's a Westie and a puppy he always get very excited when he sees other people or other dogs even other animals ie. rabbit etc. One day I found a scab by his neck and it wouldn't go away after a couple of days so I had to take him to visit the vet. The vet had to put a muzzle and and the nurse had to hold him down so they could take a look at his scab because he was moving everywhere. I have always wanted to get him a muzzle but A thinks is very cruel of me. I told him that the vet said is fine and it works wonders so I quickly went to the pet store and bought him one..LOVED it..LOL..I don't put it on him everyday. I only put it on him for about 5 minutes when he's barking..It's so funny he thinks that it's a toy and he'll come to me ever single time I take it out. I will put it on him and he'll try to take it out. Today he tried to take it out but could not and I was in the bedroom he then went outside and pout/lay down by himself on the kitchen floor.LOL..
This sounds really CRAZY but I found another Westie and I am waiting for the other person to send pictures. I am thinking of getting another one to accompany Stanley and EVERYONE else thinks its insane of us but A said if the other one looks exactly like Stanely we will get it. I'm not sure I guess we'll have to see because I cannot handle one I cannot imagine handling TWO!

Pasta
I've always liked some of the cold pasta that they sell at the deli in the grocery store. Made my own yesterday and it turned out yummy..
BLT Pasta Salad
15 min prep
Serves 4
1/4 (7 ounce) package rotini pasta or other pastas, cooked and drained
2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 tablespoon lemon juice concentrate
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 large tomato, seeded and chopped
1 tablespoon green onions, sliced
1/2 teaspoon chicken flavor instant bouillon
1 cup lettuce, thinly sliced
-Combine mayo, lemonjuice, sugar and bouillion for the dressing.
-Combine all remaining ingredients.
P/s: You can make it in advance and put it in the fridge. I would not mix the lettuce in first until ready to eat or else it'll turn soggy.

Commng to an end
I remembered the first day it was warm..How happy I was looking forward to Summer and looking forward to my family being here. Looking forward to spending time and doing things with A. We got our very first puppy this summer too..Kids was going out of school the weather is cooperating, plants are growing everything coming to life. In a blink kids are starting school again, A is starting school too..We've already had Stanley for almost 4-5months now. Everything seems to happen so fast it's like I don't have time to sit and absorb all of it. I feel like time is ticking so quickly and there is so many things to do..It's really scary because soon it's going to be my birthday and I'll be another year older..while everything is just going by so quickly..
